The only one who gives a damn about all that is the egotistical version of you that is crying out to be seen and validated.

Now that’s not to say that hard work and dedication should not be rewarded with materialistic items.

Persistent drive and work ethic warrants the right to such luxuries, as this is all part of the profound American dream.

My point is this: The good you do with what you have is what matters in every height you scale in this life.

Before you get so caught up in accumulating so much proof of your worth, focus on how you are using these materials to leave your mark on this world and the ones you love.
